สัมผัสธรรมชาติบ้านทุ่งเมืองใต้ของจังหวัดพัทลุงแสนสดชื่นและอุดมสมบูรณ์เมื่อ 50 กว่าปีที่แล้ว ซึ่งชีวิตเด็กเมืองลุงในหมู่บ้านเล็กๆ ต้องช่วยพ่อแม่ทำนาไปด้วย เรียนไปด้วย เล่นและเที่ยวตามต้นไม้ ท้องทุ่ง และสายน้ำ ผู้เขียนเล่าย้อนความทรงจำตอนเป็นเด็กชายวัยประถม

Experience the fresh and nutrient-rich of the house field in “Pat-Ta-Loong” (a Southern province in Thailand) back in the 50-year ago period. The typical outside-classroom activities for the kids; helping their parents in the field, playing in the rice fields, and catching fish in the rivers. These activities represented the childhood memories of the writer.

เพราะเป็นบทประพันธ์ที่แสดงให้เห็นถึงชีวิตของคนใต้ที่มีความสุข มีความสามัคคี เกิดขึ้นจากคนที่ร่วมมือกันช่วยกันทำนา ทำให้นึกถึงช่วงเวลาที่เสร็จจากงานกลับบ้านแล้วยังคงมีอาหารฝีมือของแม่รออยู่ที่บ้าน ความสุขบนความพอเพียง

This literature depicts a lifestyle of people in the southern provinces. People are happy, supportive, and live harmoniously within the community. This reminds me the time when I arrived home and found my mom’s home-cooked meal on the dining table. This sums up my happiness.
