หลังจากนั้นพระเจ้าสญชัยจึงตรัสสั่งให้จัดขบวนเสด็จเพื่อไปรับพระเวสสันดรและพระนางมัทรีกลับคืนสู่พระนคร เนื่องจากประชาชนชาวเมืองสีพีประจักษ์ถึงความตั้งพระทัยมั่นด้วยความเพียรพยายาม และความเสียสละที่ยิ่งใหญ่ในการบริจาคทานเพื่อประโยชน์แก่ผู้คนแล้ว พระเวสสันดรจึงลาผนวชและเสด็จขึ้นครองราชย์เป็นพระมหากษัตริย์ที่ตั้งมั่นในทศพิธราชธรรม บำบัดทุกข์บำรุงสุขไพร่ฟ้าประชาราษฎร์ทำให้บ้านเมืองสงบสุขจวบจนพระองค์พระชนมายุ 120 พรรษา

The King commanded to arrange the troops to welcome the Prince Vessantara and his wife Maddi home. The citizens of “Shivi” city realised his determination, his perseverance, and his great sacrifice to the greater good. The accession to the throne of the Prince Vessantara has brought peace and happiness to the citizens during his era.

เหตุผล / Reason

ตอนที่เลือกมาทำนั้นเป็นตอนที่พระเจ้าสญชัย พระบิดาของพระเวสสันดรทรงทราบเรื่องราวทั้งหมดที่ลูกหลานทั้งสองถูกชูชกขอมาจากพระเวสสันดร จึงทรงรับหลานทั้งสองด้วยความสุขรวมถึงเหล่าพราหมณ์ เสนาอำมาตย์ก็มีพร้อมกัน บรรยากาศของความสุขจึงมีขึ้นอย่างมากมายของทุกๆ คน จึงทำให้เห็นว่าน่าจะวาดเป็นรูปโดยใช้เทคนิคของการเตรียมกระดาษทำเอง เพื่อให้เกิดพื้นผิวขรุขระแต่มีความงามเหมาะสมลงตัวกับการนำเสนอผลงานชิ้นนี้

The scene when the King (father) knew the undisclosed story about his children was chosen as a focal theme in this artwork. The King and his privy councils took care the children very well. The atmosphere of happiness had widely spread across the castle. I chose to paint an artwork in a rough surface paper, which i deemed appropriate in this presentation.
