ตาจะพายเรืออย่างสบายอารมณ์ ไม่นึกกะเกณฑ์ว่าจะต้องออกจากบ้านกี่โมง ไม่ช่รายการท่องเที่ยวกับทัวร์ตามรถไฟตาบอก แต่เป็นทัวร์ตามอำเภอใจต่างหาก เรือท้องแบนหัวเรือสั้นๆลำนี้ ทำหน้าที่เป็นพาหนะชั้นดี ไม่ก่อมลพิษ เคลื่อนที่แหวกสายน้ำใส ไปตามแรงของคนพาย ถ้าผ่านเข้าไปกลางฝูงจิงโจ้น้ำ ก็จะพากันแตกหนี ดูวุ่นวายจ้าละหวั่นดี ตากับกะทิแทบไม่ส่งเสียงพูดกัน ปล่อยให้เรือกับผืนน้ำทักทายกันพอ ดวงอาทิตย์ดูไกลอยู่บนฟ้าทั้งๆที่เริ่มทอแสงแรง แต่น้ำรอบกายทั่วทุ่งราวเกาะแก้วกางกั้นไอร้อน นาทีราวหยุดนิ่ง น้ำกับฟ้า ลมกับตะวัน คือกรอบภาพที่มีเรือลำหนึ่งปรากฎอยู่ตรงกลาง

Grandpa shall pleasantly row his boat regardless of what time to leave home, because it is not scheduled tour as departure time of the train. This short-prow, flat-bottomed boat serves as a top class vehicle emitting no pollution, moving through the water line after the rower's strength. If passing through the middle of the water striders, they shall flee in all directions, which look chaotic! Grandpa and Kati barely talk but let the boat and water get along. As the sun shines far from the sky but the water all around in the field looking like crystal island “KohKaew”, is blocking the heat. As the minute were still standing, the boat is in the midst of water, the sky, and the sun.

จากที่ผมอ่านหนังสือเรื่องความสุขของกะทินะครับผมรู้สึกประทับใจทรงผม ความสนุกสนานความร่าเริงแจ่มใส ความฉลาดของกะทิ เเละผมยังประทับใจตาเเละยายที่เลี้ยงดูกะทิเป็นอย่างดีทำให้กะทิรู้สึกว่าไม่ได้ขาดความอบอุ่นนอกจากผมประทับใจกะทิ ตาเเละยายเเล้ว ผมยังประทับใจบรรยากาศบ้านของกะทิที่เต็มไปด้วยทุ่งนาที่มีลำคลองที่เต็มไปด้วยดอกบัว ซึ่งผมประทับใจตอนที่ตาพากะทิไปเก็บสายบัว เพื่อมาทำอาหารกลางวัน ผมจึงนำมาสร้างเป็นงานศิลปะที่ชื่อว่า"ใบบัว"ครับ ปัจจุบันนี้ธรรมชาติที่สวยงามหาได้น้อยลงมีเเต่คนทิ้งขยะใช้สารเคมี ปล่อยน้ำเสีย ทำให้คลองมีความตื้นเขิน สกปรก มีเเต่ขยะผมอยากให้ทุกคนหันมาใส่ใจธรรมชาติเเละสิ่งเเวดล้อมกันมากขึ้น โดยเริ่มจากตัวเรา เช่นการไม่ทิ้งขยะมูลฝอย การไม่ใช้สารเคมี ในชุมชนควรลด ละ เลิก การใช้สารเคมีที่เป็นอันตราย เพื่อจะให้ธรรมชาติและสิ่งแวดล้อมอุดมสมบูรณ์ตลอดไปครับ

The “Happiness of Kati” impressed me by fun, cheerful brilliance of Kati and grandpa and grandma, who raised Kati well, made her feel she was not lacking loving care. Besides, I am also impressed with the atmosphere of Kati’s house, surrounded with rice fields and canal, abundant with lotus. Then, I created an art called "Lotus leaf". Nowadays, the beauty of nature dwindles. Dumping chemicals and wastewater into canals, which created pollution and blocking waterway. So, one should refrain from spoiling but sustain the perfection of nature and environments by starting from us ourselves.
