การบวชป่าถูกจัดขึ้นในเช้าวันหนึ่งที่หมู่บ้านห้วยแม่ปั๋ง โดยที่เสือและลูกทีมเป็นพ่องานช่วยกันจัดสถานที่ตั้งเต็นท์และนิมนต์พระมาทำพิธี “พี่เสือครับ การบวชป่าจะทำให้ชาวบ้านกลัว ไม่กล้าตัดต้นไม้เหรอครับ” แคนถาม “กับชาวบ้านน่ะกฎหมายอาจไม่ศักดิ์สิทธิ์ แต่ความเชื่อ ความศรัทธา ศักดิ์สิทธิ์มาก” หลังพิธีการต่างๆการบวชป่าก็เริ่มขึ้น พระ 5 รูปผูกจีวรต้นไม้ ทุกคนพนมมือและฟังพระท่านกล่าว “ต้นไม้ที่บวชแล้วถือเป็นพระสงฆ์ ตัดต้นไม้บาปหนักเท่าฆ่าพระสงฆ์”
